US President Barack Obama meet at the White House on Monday, with members of the government and civil rights leaders to discuss issues related to the state of Pfirgson
Missouri, where a grand jury decided not to indict a white police officer in the murder of an unarmed black man.
The White House said in a statement that the meeting with members of the government will examine Obama ordered a review commissioned in August of the federal programs that provide equipment to local law enforcement agencies.
The statement added that Obama will also meet with elected officials and leaders of civil rights and law enforcement officials from across the country to discuss "how you can collaborate with communities and law enforcement agencies to build confidence for the promotion of good neighborliness across the country."
