Obama signed new sanctions on Russia and Kerry waving lifting conditions



The White House announced the intention of US President Barack Obama signing a bill that allows for the imposition of new sanctions on Russia, while Foreign Minister John Kerry waved the possibility of lifting the sanctions provided that Moscow take "the right choices."
This comes at a time when the Russian currency continued (Ruble) to fall, as the dollar has become equal to 80 rubles and euro 100 rubles.
Said White House spokesman Josh Ernest Obama still has reservations on some aspects of the bill, but he thinks it gives him the flexibility they want.
The White House was not enthusiastic about the bill earlier.
On the other hand, Foreign Minister Kerry stated that there is a possibility to lift the European and American sanctions on Russia within days if "President Vladimir Putin made the right choices."
Kerry praised some recent steps Putin described as "constructive" and said that the Russian economy, however, Putin.
He said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he had "real doubts" that the West is seeking to change the regime in Russia, while US Secretary of State, told reporters that the sanctions do not target Russian citizens, but "to Putin's invitation to think about different options."
"The sanctions can be lifted in a matter of weeks or even days, depending on the options for Putin."
Kerry pointed to the negotiations on the situation in eastern Ukraine, said that calm prevails in some areas, there are a few days ago, and that "there are signs of positive choices and this can help, we hope so."
